Cassie Dailey is one of our inaugural dancers, starting with us in 2024 and continuing this year!
Cassie Dailey is a Psychology major with a Theatre minor, which means she studies humans and then dances about it. Her training includes classical ballet, competitive cheerleading, and heels. She's all about movement that feels good and leaves people better than she found them.
Among her top performances, Cassie Dailey shines as the house dancer at Desert 5 Spot, commanding the honky-tonk stage night after night and dancing alongside artists such as Willie Chambers, Nikki Lane, Drake Bell, and more. At Burlesque & Chill’s Screamtacular Show, she delivered a standout comedic performance as a friend-turned-alien killer, leaving the crowd in stitches with perfectly timed chaos and unforgettable booty smacks. She also considers her performance at Melons for Malak one of her most meaningful, using dance to support humanitarian aid and raise funds for a nursing student in Gaza, proving her work can be both joyful and deeply purposeful.
Cassie Dailey’s special skills include live stage performance, improvisation, musicality, and strong crowd engagement, often winning over a room within seconds, frequently with a very strong booty smack. She is a thoughtful listener and collaborative performer who values timing, presence, and supporting her troupe’s growth and success.
Her Burlesque & Chill highlights include playful, character forward performances created within a supportive sisterhood that encourages risk and authenticity. Seeing a photo of herself as a pearl stealing peasant helped her recognize her love for storytelling, while the community taught her how to be vulnerable on stage without fear.
