Mae Lust joined the company first as a guest in 2022. She joined as a soloist in 2024 and is continuing as a soloist and hostess in 2026!

Mae Lust, the Sorceress of Seduction, is proudly queer, campy, curvy, witchy, and kinky, and has been part of LA’s theatre & burlesque scenes for over 15 years. She trained with neo-legends from LA’s infamous Velvet Hammer, as well as studying with Lili VonSchtupp, the ‘godmother of LA burlesque’.

Founder of Lusty Kitten Productions in 2013, she produces sex-positive events, art salons and powerful public rituals. She hosts and performs with both Lusty Kitten and the Burlesque & Chill troupes here in LA. Drawing on her therapeutic, theatre and film backgrounds, she also mentors burlesque and teaches workshops in Somatic Erotic Archetype movement!

Mae has been performing in LA burlesque for over 15 years and has many favorite moments! Some involved bucket-list venues, like the Viper Room; some bucket-list productions like MNT (Muppets!), or Thick Strip. It was her great pleasure to serve as the femmecee of Belle Book & Candle for over 5 years. And as part of the queer community, Mae was particularly proud to represent as Dyke Day LA’s official host and burlesque show for several years.

In addition to burlesque performance and hosting, Mae produces, leads public ritual, has 25 years of costuming experience, and is an award-winning theatre director. She is also an educator who leads somatic movement workshops designed to put femmes in touch with the whole of their sexy selves.

One of Mae’s top Burlesque & Chill highlights has been, “Last year brought my first chance to work with the dance corps; working with them in rehearsals and then experiencing the final product felt like a joyful, sexy explosion of shared energy. Playing Carmilla is one of my top favorite performances in over 15 years!”

“I am looking forward to more group numbers in 2026, and in bringing my sea-witch theatre-nerdery out to play in a whole new way...”
